We are a dynamically growing company in the Air Chartering business with a diverse fleet operating on a world-wide level.  Air X is an international company offering exposure to various markets and jurisdictions from around the world.

As part of this exciting new period for the company we are looking for a Technical Services Manager at our office in Malta within our CAMO department.

Role

 

The role of this position is to control and instruct the Technical service section within the company whilst offering advice and support to other departments as required.

 

Main Duties

 

·         Supervise and control staff in the Technical records section.

·         Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of Airframe, Engine & APU records.

·         Ongoing maintenance and review of Airframe, Engine and APU records during ownership up to and including time of sale.

·         Responsible for the collation and management of original records with due consideration for the regulatory and program storage obligations.

·         Audit compliance of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins for each Airframe, Engine & APU and ensure correct/current status is entered into the company database and records management system.

·         Update the company database for the tracking of accurate information for engines, components, inspections and other technical information.

·         Ensure all Airframe, Engine & APU records are updated to accurately reflect the latest technical publication issue and are filed in the correct location.

·         Communicate with all relevant internal and external parties to ensure all engine data is obtained.

·         Develop and enhance processes and procedures to ensure and improve aircraft availability and system reliability.

 Requirements

·         Min. 3 years‘ experience working in a records management capacity within the aviatin industry.

·         Wide and varied knowledge of all Technical Engine Records is essential, incl. Operator and MRO records.

·         Good knowledge of Maintaince Tracking Systems, CAMP. OASES etc.

·         Good knowledge of MS-WORD and Excel.

·         Good knowledge of PART M requirements & EASA Regulations.

·         Good understanding of LLP trace requirements.

·         Is fastidious in their approach to Records Management.

·         Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Is able to take an analytical and logical approach to their own workload.
